Cedar Door Installation & Rubio Monocoat Finish in Austin, TX
Seven custom JELD-WEN cedar pre-hung doors were sanded, finished with Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C Pure, installed, aligned and adjusted for smooth operation.
Project Overview
This Austin door project included finishing and installing seven custom JELD-WEN cedar door units. The doors arrived unfinished, so the work started with careful inspection, final sanding and surface preparation before finish application.
Kir Remodeling applied Rubio Monocoat Oil Plus 2C in the Pure finish to protect the cedar and highlight the natural wood grain. After the finish cured, the pre-hung door units were installed, aligned, adjusted and completed with hardware installation.
