2 Rooms Remodeling Project – Full Interior Renovation in Cedar Park, TX
This two-room remodeling project in Cedar Park, Texas involved a complete interior transformation, including flooring replacement, wall painting, structural framing modification, French door installation, and new baseboard installation.
The goal was to modernize the space, replace outdated carpet, improve natural light flow between rooms, and create a clean, durable, and updated interior finish suitable for long-term residential use.

Phase 1: Carpet Removal & Subfloor Preparation
The project began with complete removal of the existing carpet, padding, and fasteners. Carpet removal is a critical first step in any flooring renovation, as leftover staples, tack strips, and debris can affect the longevity of new flooring.
After removal, we carefully inspected and prepared the subfloor. This included:
• Removing all remaining fasteners
• Checking for uneven areas
• Ensuring proper surface conditions for LVP installation

Phase 2: Doorway Framing Extension & French Door Installation
One of the key upgrades in this remodeling project was the installation of new French doors between the two rooms.
To make this possible, we:
• Modified and extended the existing doorway opening
• Reframed and properly supported the wall section
• Prepared and finished the new framing for painting
• Installed the French door unit with precise leveling
Framing modifications must be performed correctly to ensure structural stability and smooth door operation. The new French doors significantly improved natural light flow and created a more open, connected feel between the rooms.

We installed high-quality luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring throughout both rooms. LVP is a popular flooring solution in Central Texas homes due to its:
